I cook then draw.
Whenever I think of my mom or grandma, I think of their food: mornings as a kid waking up to the sound of vegetables being chopped, meat being seared, rice being washed, and kimchi being pickled. Food has such an invoking power to bring these visceral moments of nostalgia. I reminisce of my late grandma's tempura, and relish every moment eating my mom's curry or katsu. It takes ample time in both aspects of prep work and experience to make a meal and feed your loved ones. That's why I think I love cooking. Though I'm not a professional chef in any way and consider myself an average home cook, I hope to create videos that share just a bit of the love and passion I have for food. In return, hopefully, I can create some of the same moments of nostalgia or even instead a drive to cook for you as the viewer. Thanks for visiting my channel!
