Chalke History Festival

23 - 29 June 2025. The largest festival in the UK dedicated entirely to History in partnership with Evelyn Partners.
Set within 70 acres of an area of outstanding natural beauty in Broad Chalke, near Salisbury, Wiltshire, the festival uniquely combines over 150 talks from some of the best known experts on a vast array of subjects from ancient to modern day history, alongside an interactive living history programme led by some of our most popular TV historians and which includes some truly revelatory and exciting demonstrations, from cookery and daily life, medicine and surgery, to evolving warfare, tactics and weaponry. It is a celebration of history like no other!
