Curly Hair Crisis

It was a natural hair DISASTER! Protein overload is REAL!!! My hair was to my waist! I had the goal to be able to sit on my hair. However, I made a serious mistake and my hair locked up into fat dreaded, matted, locs! I tried to detangle my hair for an entire month and nothing worked. I eventually had to go to the salon and get all of my matted hair cut off. I have never had hair that short. I mourned for a year! My hair defined who I was and I refused to take care of it, condition it, protect it... I did not care. But, with a little nudging from my good friends, I decided to share my journey back to waist-length hair. Oh- and it will be a natural hair care journey... so let's see how it goes!
