RAW VEGAN DROPOUT
I have removed most of my videos from my seven-year journey as a devoted raw vegan. Fortunately, last year I transitioned away from this diet before the health challenges I began to notice around the sixth year became irreversible. Initially, I was reluctant to acknowledge and accept my declining health, having fully embraced the raw vegan philosophy but eventually the physical decline could not be supplemented away or ignored.
My deepest regret is the burden I placed on my family with my rigid dietary choices and my unwavering belief that this was the ideal human diet for everyone. What an insufferable know-it-all I was! I sincerely hope that others not doing ok can find their way out as well—first, by recognizing the possibility of an eating disorder, and second, by breaking free from the mental constraints that may be holding them captive.
Life after raw veganism is vibrant and truly fulfilling. I feel as though an immense weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
