Expressionist Painting with JAAPH: I am an expressionist painter from the Netherlands. Pronounce: "Jahpaich".
Born in '52. Started out as a psychologist. Treated clients, taught training, and visited museums. Returned to art at 66. When I put the first brush stroke on the canvas again, something fell into place. Like a bridge collapsing in slow motion.
I film myself while painting and/or talking about art. About colors, brushes, composition, the process, and so on. This channel is for other painters who are interested in expressionist painting and whom I can connect with. And the channel is for collectors who like to see how paintings happen: "Witness Creativity at Work."
My videos are no perfect cinematographic products. As long as you can hear what I say and see what I do, I'm happy. If it gets too boring I will edit it down. On the other hand, if your attention span is 2 minutes max, then this channel is not for you
