Loose Studio.

Hi, I'm Cat Leonard, a South Australian artist/painter/art-tutor. I seem to have acquired a bit of a reputation for my loose painting style, that's probably because I love to explore ideas and test them using oil and acrylic paint, and I have so many ideas that I need to paint them quickly so I can finish and move onto working on the next...and the next...and more often than not I make a big mess doing so - maybe that's because I work so quickly once I get going and if I haven't set myself up properly I run out of bench space and pallet room before I'm ready to stop...and I occasionally drop things or they go flying out of my hand (which might be why there's paint on the ceiling when I look up).
This channel is a work in progress, it's an extension of my exploring these mediums and a personal enquiry into my own performance when painting demonstrations, and it is a record of my work in the making.
