The Pharaoh Nerd

Hello and welcome to the first ever Youtube channel dedicated to exploring ancient Egypt in depth! I’m the Pharaoh Nerd, and by my name alone, it's pretty obvious what I’m passionate about - Pharaonic Egypt! I’m not exactly an expert yet, though, so one of the aims of this channel is for us to learn more as we go, together. Unlike other attempts to delve into Egypt’s fascinating history, I’m not going to do it chronologically. That’s because, as insane as it might sound, Pharaonic Egypt lasted THREE. LITERAL. MILLENNIA. The amount of woefully neglected enigmas and stories contained within that timespan is just… unfathomable, so we’re going to investigate little tidbits of ancient Egypt’s history and culture at a time, either in short series or one-off videos. In addition, expect to see some memes, in addition to videos on ancient Rome (my second favourite ancient civilization), Byzantium, ancient coins and the histories of obscure modern countries!
