I’m Ryndon, creator of TJFREE.

I try to provide accurate information for people looking for free alternatives to proprietary and paid software.

All of the programs recommend here are free to download and use, and most are Free Open Source Software (FOSS).

These are genuine free/libre programs who’s creators (in many cases) have chosen to donate their time and ideas in order to create awesome and useful tools for everyone to use. If you find their software useful, please consider donating on their official website(s).

I discovered open source and free software in the mid 2000’s, and noticed a lack of information and education surrounding some of this software.

In 2009, I uploaded a YouTube video demonstrating my favorite free software applications, showing some of the useful and cool things they can do.

Free software can be incredibly powerful and useful and In many cases, even outperform paid versions of similar software.
